So what is intuition anyway?

It has been described as unable to be explained scientifically and a phenomenon which is irrational. Intuition goes beyond our intellectual capabilities, as it is felt.

Intuition comes from a different realm of happening (the unknowable) or a higher reality.

It is felt as something which has happened beyond you and the self. To understand in intuition first you must believe it exists.

Intuition can also be described as going from one point to another without any connection. Like jumping from A to B.

Intuition is a part of your consciousness and is the soul functioning spontaneously.
